Set up in 60 seconds
- Unbox & place the Halove Sphere™ on its holder (flat, stable surface).
- Connect by USB-C
Plug the cable into the Sphere and your computer (Mac/Windows) or a USB-C phone.
Tip for iPhone: iPhone 15/15 Pro = USB-C (plug in directly). Older iPhones with Lightning need a Lightning-to-USB adapter. - Open the drive that appears (it will show up like a USB thumb drive).
- Add your videos
Best format: MP4 (H.264 video + AAC audio).
Create a folder named “Videos” (optional) and drag & drop your clips inside. - Eject safely from your computer/phone.
- Press the back button on the Sphere → your video plays.
Pro tip: Short, high-impact clips (10–60s), close-ups, smiles, and moments with movement look amazing.
Play & everyday use
- Start/Pause: press the back button.
- Viewing: set on a shelf, bedside, mantle, or desk; dimmer rooms = cozier glow.
- Order control (optional): many simple players read files alphabetically. If yours does, name files like 01_anniversary.mp4, 02_birthday.mp4 to set the sequence. If not, a single favorite clip works beautifully.
Compatible video formats (simple guidance)
- Best: .mp4 (H.264/AAC)
- Often OK: .mov / .m4v (if a file doesn’t play, convert to MP4).
- If a video won’t play smoothly, re-export at 1080p and standard bitrate (no need for 4K).
Load from a computer
Mac (Finder)
- Connect via USB-C → the Sphere appears in Locations.
- Drag MP4s into it (optionally a Videos folder).
- Eject, unplug, press the back button.
Windows (File Explorer)
- Connect via USB-C → opens like a Removable Drive.
- Copy MP4s across.
- Eject, unplug, press the back button.
Load from a phone
Android (USB-C)
- Plug in → if prompted, choose File Transfer.
- Use Files/My Files app to copy MP4s to the Sphere drive.
- Safely disconnect → press the back button.
iPhone (USB-C/Lightning)
- iPhone 15 series: plug USB-C → use Files app → copy videos → disconnect → press the back button.
- Older iPhones (Lightning): use a Lightning-to-USB adapter, then follow the same steps in Files.
